End of an Era - Canadian Tire money goes digital

Since 1958 shoppers at Canadian Tire stores have received Canadian Tire money as a form of cash back on their purchases but after 56 years, Canadian Tire money is going digital. Their new card-based rewards program is said to roll out in October and will track customer purchases digitially.  Customers will be able to collect and redeem their rewards using a card or an app.   This signals the end of an era for a lot of loyal Canadian Tire customers.  While paper Canadian Tire money will still be honoured, the days of stockpiling these bills is nearing its end.  Do you save Canadian Tire bills?
