The Secret of Success: Needling less sleep?

Many of us claim that we need very little sleep to survive an active day.  These claims are likely more than just big talk.

President Obama claims to only need about 4-5 hours of sleep a night.  Martha Stewart works well on about 4 hours a night.  Ceo of Pepsi, Indra Nooyi requires just over 4 hours.

So, what's their secret - Is not needing much sleep the secret to their success or is it just that they have longer work hours to accomplish more.  Can you work crazy long hours and still have a life?  Maybe we need  to train ourselves to try and survive on just 4-5 hours.  I don't know - without a nap I would likely hit the wall at 9pm.  Does napping count?  Who's actually more productive with less sleep?

The good news?  If you require 8 hours of sleep, plenty of people have found ways to be just as successful and still sleep almost as much as the average Canadian which is about 8.5 hours of sleep on an average day.  How many hours do you require to be successful?
